In general, Burton’s style and minor details worked well in that movie, besides, all this was bright and crazy enough to fit the real Joker. In Jack Nicholson’s Joker, I really, really like the clothes style - but Nicholson too big and fat for skinny and leggy Joker, so it was ruined. However, I love his infectious laugh (maybe not the best in quality and not completely jokerish, but nevertheless), his bubbling joy and childish mischief. Not least because of the looks, mustache and pink suit.
